The Rife Team
Rife was led by an outstanding Editorial Team based within Watershed. Over the years we were guided by four inspiring Editors, kept in shape by a brilliant set of Producers and Co-ordinators, while the work itself was driven by 38 extraordinarily talented in-house content creators. While employed at Rife, they created many of the things you see on the website, from thought-provoking articles to powerful videos, and promoted it on social media.

Nikesh Shukla
Nikesh Shukla is an author and the editor of the award-winning, bestselling essay collection, ‘The Good Immigrant’. He is also working on a new lit mag, ‘The Good Journal’, and exploring new ways of delivering it digitally.
Sammy Jones
Sammy Jones is a writer, editor and researcher. She works for Metro, Time Out and more, and is a New Talent Fellow on the Amplified Publishing pathfinder at Bristol and Bath Creative R&D, researching the future of comment sections.
Lucy Turner
Lucy is a Bristol-based storyteller and content creator. After graduating University of Westminster with a degree in Fashion Buying, she went through a life-changing disease and decided to change course and began to explore creative ways to examine and work through suffering.
Holly Muse (Rife Guide Editor)
Making the great journey from the North-East to the South-West, Holly studied at UWE and instantly fell in love with the weird and wonderful Bristol. Holly is pro at planning unrealistic travelling trips, exploring Bristol’s green spaces and trying out every Italian in the city.
Bex Rose
Bex works is Watershed’s Editorial Mentor and Producer for Rife Magazine. Working with the engagement team and young people she supports Rife’s content creators to develop their creativity and digital skills, helping them tell their stories and find pathways into the creative industries. Bex also works supporting the BFI Film Academy at Watershed.
