Hello! Rife Magazine ceased publishing new work in July 2022.

We've kept the magazine online as an archive and hope you'll still continue to enjoy all of its contributions from the last 8 years.

The Rife Team

Sophie Setter Jerome

Now finishing her A-Levels, Sophie started her YouTube channel two years ago, looking for both a creative outlet and a space to monologue without interruption. She believes that the internet gives previously unheard people a voice, a topic she was given the chance to speak on at the No Boundaries Conference held in Bristol and Birmingham in February 2014. She is also interested in how film can be used to highlight social issues, and this year worked with the Watershed’s BFI Film Academy on a documentary project that asked ‘What Makes a Feminist?’ She currently spends her time re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and avoiding questions about her plans for next year.

International Menstrual Hygiene Day: Don't Tampon Our Spirits

Sophie Setter Jerome talks menstrual hygiene, because it's not secret women have periods.

Feminism 101

The Feminism 101 We Need, says Sophie Setter Jerrome, needs to really mean #yesALLwomen.
