Pearl Andrews-Horrigan

Pearl is from Weston-super-Mare. A Newcastle University graduate and soon-to-be Drama Writing student at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she is also a member of The Writing Squad, a development scheme funded by Arts Council England. Her short plays have been produced at London venues including The Arcola and The Pleasance and her longer work has been invested in by The Customs House, South Shields after she won their 2018 Playwriting Award for under 25s. When not writing, Pearl has worked for a graduate scheme which trains prison officers with an emphasis on rehabilitation and volunteered for Nightline, the anonymous student listening service.
