Nominations are open for Rife’s 2019 24 under 24 list

Who’s the most inspirational Bristol young person you know?

Our 24 under 24 is an annual list of people who have three things in common: they’re 24 or under, they live in Bristol and they’re achieving awesome things. Know someone who fits the bill? We want to hear about who you think should be on this year’s list.

Here’s last year’s list of excellent people.

Maybe your mate is a climate change activist who’s been doing the most to save the planet this year, or your cousin has launched a Depop shop that everyone’s obsessed with, or you work with someone whose side hustle is being a drop-dead gorgeous drag artist. Whoever you think is amazing, we want to hear about them.

Here are the categories we want to hear about most: art, activism, sport, photography, politics, tech, poetry, business, dance, theatre, tech, video, music, design, writing, acting, film, social media, academia, science, and journalism – or surprise us with something we haven’t even thought of yet.

Email us now to nominate your fave at editor@rifemagazine.co.uk.

Please include:

  • your name
  • their name
  • their age
  • what they do
  • why you’re nominating them
  • their contact details – if they don’t have an email address, send over a link to their Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

Please make your nomination by 11 November. We’ll get in contact after that date with everyone we’ve selected. Send over your nomination to editor@rifemagazine.co.uk.

Support more young people to have their voices heard

Rife is Watershed‘s online magazine created for young people, by young people.

We offer paid internships and publish work by young writers, photographers, illustrators, and filmmakers from all sorts of backgrounds, helping them get into creative careers. Rife has reached over 8,000 young people through our workshops, over 220 young people have made stuff for Rife on topics ranging from mental health to identity to baked beans, and last year, over 200,000 people visited our website.

In these complex and uncertain times hearing from and supporting young people who are advocating for social change and contributing fresh perspectives has never been so important.

Through supporting Rife you can ensure that this important work continues and that more young people have their voices heard.
