Rife’s free networking event for young creatives in Bristol, The Link, returns in collaboration with Encounters Film Festival

The Link returns! This time round we’ll be working with the marvellous people at Encounters Film Festival to bring you some top guest speakers with fantastic film industry knowledge – and who knows? Their exclusive tips could give just the insight you need to launch your filmmaking career…

The Link is Rife Magazine’s free networking event for Bristol’s young, creative, under 24s to meet, be creative, collaborate and meet professionals. There will be refreshments. There will be lots of creatives to mingle with. And there will be industry connections to meet.

Whether you’re a writer, blogger, photographer, filmmaker, artist, illustrator or just interested in lots of different things, The Link is  a fun, friendly and informal chance to chat about the stuff you love – come along!

Support more young people to have their voices heard

Rife is Watershed‘s online magazine created for young people, by young people.

We offer paid internships and publish work by young writers, photographers, illustrators, and filmmakers from all sorts of backgrounds, helping them get into creative careers. Rife has reached over 8,000 young people through our workshops, over 220 young people have made stuff for Rife on topics ranging from mental health to identity to baked beans, and last year, over 200,000 people visited our website.

In these complex and uncertain times hearing from and supporting young people who are advocating for social change and contributing fresh perspectives has never been so important.
