Know your Gonorrhoea from your Genital Warts? Jess explains where to get tested for Sexually Transmitted Infections in Bristol.

Getting tested for STIs in Bristol is free and easy. You can find your local clinic on the 4YP website – the same guys that run the C-Card scheme (free condoms for anyone under 25). The staff at the Sexual Health Clinics are seriously awesome – they’ve seen it all before, and they’ll do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. Getting checked for STIs is part of life once you’re having sex, and it’s an essential part of making sure you and your partners stay healthy.

Sex isn’t anything to be ashamed of – and getting tested means you’re stepping up to your responsibilities. It’s not a big deal.

So go forth into the world, get yourself tested and keep enjoying all your safe sex!

Have we inspired you to get tested for STIs? Do you think it’s something more young people should do? Or are you worried about going to the clinic? Tell us on Facebook or Twitter.
