Alfie Skinner

Alfie Skinner is a 19-year-old from Bristol with a passion for filmmaking, audio producing and mixing his own own music. He has made and produced original soundtracks for two documentary films with BFI Film Academy; Treading Water, about a young carer: bit.ly/38eTSg3 and Home To Home, exploring the experiences of young African immigrants and their reflections on moving to the UK: bit.ly/2zsxLFF Having recently been selected as one of Calling the Shots, ‘New Creatives’, Alfie is currently producing a short audio piece for the BBC, mentored by the incredibly talented Eliza Lomas: bit.ly/2UW6aUC Alfie wrote his first piece for Rife (about his top ten musical moments in Bristol), when he was only 14. He loves music, film and skateboarding and is looking forward to starting a degree in Filmmaking at UWE next year.
